The TotalBoat Bilge Paint received mixed reviews. Many customers were satisfied, praising its great coverage, easy application, smooth finish, and durability. However, some reported issues with the paint drying and curing properly, as well as problems with the color not matching the website. A few noted the paint did not perform well in certain areas, such as the bilge, where it failed to withstand spilled gas additives.

Premium Product
I had great success with this paint, well worth the effort

Not fantastic.
First coat went down good. Let cure 72 hours. Second coat has rough and crackled finish. We will see how it performs long term.

Total Bilge Epoxy paint
Total Bilge Epoxy paint is easy to use right out of the can, flows on smooth using a roller. Covers well over existing clean surfaces. Looks like a brand new Bilge

It dried in the cold!
I was skeptical after reading a lot of the reviews as I need to paint in below 60 degrees, it was 55 in the engine room and I put on the first coat, with lows in the 40's overnight I thought it would never dry but when I arrived the next day it was hard as a rock, couldn't even poke my fingernail into it, I waited 2 days for the second coat but I was getting orange peel in certain areas which I think it probably should've cured for a couple more days.

Think twice about making a purchase
I have purchased 4 gallons over the years. The latest product appears to be a different formulation. It is very difficult to apply. Different performance from prior purchases, it's like rolling bubble gum. Can't get a smooth surface
