[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The snowblower works wonderfully—but be sure to buy a Toro Battery. I accidentally bought a battery on line that looked like a toro battery, but it failed to work after the first use. I thought the Toro blower was faulty but after I bought a Toro battery and place it in the machine, it worked perfectly—so be careful what battery you purchase!

Engine Problem

I purchased my Toro Snowblower in December 2024 and didn't need to use it because we did not have enough snow. I used it once in December 2025 but didn't get through a complete removal because it stopped working. I took it to an authorized Toro repair shop only to find out there is a problem with the engine. I contacted the repair shop and they told me they are waiting on parts. I has now been four to five weeks without the Toro snowblower and have a 9 inch snowfall I have to shovel by hand ...

Works well sometimes.

This is a great little snowblower when it works. However, it does not like low temps, those lower than 30°. If I have to release the bail after it has been running just fine, it will not resart. I have to put it in the garage with an electric heater on it for a couple of hrs.and take the battery indoors to warm up. After doing this it will usually run again. Very frustrating.

Gets the job done!

Would Recommend

Is this machine perfect? No. I live in MA and I’ve had this for a few years now. I’m able to do my two car driveway on a single charge. I can probably start and complete two other driveways depending on how much snow there is. It’s not so great on uneven surfaces and dips but this has saved my back multiple times. It got me through Fern! 39yr old woman here and I was able to assemble it myself and I can fully operate it easily. So can you!

stopped working

had this machine for 2 years, a couple days ago went to do my driveway. got 4 beeps. after calling several different stores to get it worked on i finally found a store willing to work with electric snow blower. brought it in. the fix. a 500 dollar replacement of the mother board. since its over 2 years old no warranty to cover it. awesome toro..
