Great product
Solidly built. Dense heavy foam feels durable and should do a great job keeping the attic air in the attic. Install was fairly straightforward. Had to trim some foam from side panels where ladder apparatus would have scraped while closing, so some tweaks were needed but still feels like a solid choice and a good value for my needs.

The product doesn’t fit the door opening.
We assembled the recommended product according to the directions. After completing the process we discovered that the cover was too narrow and short and did not fit but it was the recommended cover for the door we purchased. I want a refund.

Attic stair in closure
This was easy to install and does the job. I gave 4 stars because it could be an inch wider then when the stairs are retracted the springs would not rub the styrofoam sides.

The product is a good product. Just would have wished they would have stated in the description that it may have to be modified to fit the opening. It does not sit flush due to the rafters in my attic. Room does feel warmer. All in all it's a good value.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT, EASY INSTALLATION
Excellent product, well designed and easy to install. The instructions were the best I have seen in my forty-plus of woodworking/DIY projects. It should be noted that the dimensions provided are for the outside of the cover. A call to ESS Energy Products provided the inside dimensions which fit my closed pull-down ladder perfectly. Delivery was free and the cover arrived in good condition 2 days after placing the order. Highly recommended!
