For wireless installation, the doorbell requires 3 "C" batteries (not included) and a wireless push button (sold separately)
For wired installation you will need a 16VAC/10VA low voltage transformer, bell wire and hard wired push button (all sold separately)

Be aware that this unit doesn't come with a button diode. In other words if you don't have the diode installed, Your visitor will have to hold the doorbell button down to work So you need a diode that they don't tell you about

No chime options for Ring
After a second electrician came out he was able to install this and make it work with Ring doorbell but he couldn't make it change chime sounds for the Ring doorbell. The first electrician couldn't figure it out and hadto reschedule for second electrician. Very annoying as i had to take time off work for both appointments.
