My son need to drill out a piece of mild steel 3/4" angle iron. there was already a small pilot hole after we removed a broken rivet. this but dulled almost immediately in trying to drill to the 5/16" size. will take back for a refund.

The only thing fast is how quickly it dulls

I bought this to drill into 3/16" steel posts. It took a ton of pressure on the drill to get it to cut the first 8 holes, and each one was slower than the last. Then it simply stopped cutting at all. I switched to a Milwaukee titanium bit I thought was too ordinary for the job. It sliced through the steel in seconds with no dropoff in speed through the final six holes. The Stinger ended up being a waste of money.
