SnowJoe roof rake works!

I bought the SnowJoe roof rake for a double roof metal gazebo that we put on our back yard patio. It finally snowed and we had about 5-6 inches of snow on the roof. I got the snow rake out and it worked very well and helped me to remove most of the snow from the roof of the gazebo. I only had to use 1 of the extensions on the handle and it was enough to let me get to the top of the smaller section of the roof. I am no longer worried about my gazebo roof collapsing from too much snow.

Excellent product

I have been using this snow removal unit for several years and it is great! It is so much easier than pulling with a normal roof rake. You just walk forward and the snow falls off! Just remember to do the removal before the snow packs down and hardens! Otherwise not much helps....the day after the storm go out and remove it from the roof. Easy to put together. I cut off some of the nylon runner as my roof did not need such a long length. I am 77 with2 shoulder replacements and if I can do...

Pole bends.

The pole bends too easily. I was able to clear about 15 feet up on the roof, then when it comes to a new snowpack, the pole just bends, and it will not cut through the snow. After the second usage, the pole has a permanent bend in it and won't clear more than halfway. See photos. I would recommend it if they had a higher quality pole, but this leaves more snow on the roof than it removes.

Great for removing pine straw from utility sheds

Talk about off label use! Saw this and thought it might work, figured if it didn't no big deal. works like a charm. Takes an 2 hour task into a 20 minute task!

Back saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] And we had a big snowstorm come through this thing was extremely helpful I made the job a lot easier quicker and safer. It also definitely saved my back from having to climb on the roof and use a regular shovel . The assembly was super easy and is very compact and easy to store with other Winter equipment
