LP SmartSide 540 Series Primed 0.9-in x 3-in x 96-in Engineered Basic trim board

SmartSide Smooth Lap

Siding cut and nailed great. The light brush texture at first caught me off guard because I ordered it prior to seeing the product. I'm tired of the dust and weight of cement products. Product so far looks good and is holding paint well after a year. Problem: Three suppliers I use say they can no longer get it. I have approximately 25 pieces left over and was hoping to use it on my personal home presently being built.

How to protect horizontal trim

I am a contractor, and we install a lot of smart panel exteriors. I have it on my cottage. It looks great, But there is one great durability challenge with the trim. The front face is high density, and stands up well, but the sides of the trim are less dense, and even porous in places. This leads to water penetration from the top down on horizontal trim over doors or over the layer of smart panel from 1st to 2nd floor. Premium wood trim

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We rebuilt/ resided a 35 year old shed that has seen much better days. This trim was pre-primed and since it was manufactured lumber, the boards were straight making our finish work easy. Our finished product turned out great.

Sturdy and Beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seen samples, read reviews, will be using on my new home

Passed my water absorption test

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I floated a 176-gram section of Smart Trim in a bucket of water overnight, and it absorbed 15 grams of water, or about 8%. Seems water resistant to me.

Smart trim

Like the product and it last much longer than normal stud or pine or cedar trimming.

fascia brd is different from the cedar fascia brd,

smart fascia brd that's 16 ft long 5.5 wide has a groove that's ¼ inch from bottom to the groove most houses built in Alabama have a ⅝'s lip, then the groove, if y'all could make some in stock with the ⅝'s lip then the groove, remodeling fascia 8n Alabama would be so much easier, thankyou!! for a new house it would be great but far as remodeling old eaves and fascia it's a struggle?
