What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these tie plates for delivering strong, reliable joint reinforcement across diverse DIY and construction projects. Users consistently highlight their exceptional strength in high-stress applications like rafters and deck framing, noting connections are "way better than screws or nails alone." Installation is praised as simple and intuitive, with the ability to hand-bend plates to 45 or 90 degree angles without specialized tools. Customers appreciate their affordability and versatility, frequently planning to keep extras on hand. A few mention the metal is thinner than expected, though most consider this a minor trade-off for the overall value and performance.

Works as advertised!

Would Recommend

This does what it’s supposed to do and they say it’s the best. Used the suggested Simpson structural screws to install it on an existing deck at a few seems that may or may not be separating over time. I’ll check on it periodically through the next years but I think this will shore up the support of my deck in the meantime.
