The URFP is designed to provide a universal retrofit method to secure the mudsill to the foundation. The URFP scalloped, slotted hole feature allows installation flexibility when the mudsill is offset or inset from the foundation edge. With allowable loads deriving from longitudinal embossments and stiffening darts, the URFP may be used as a one-for-one replacement of 1/2-in or 5/8-in mudsill anchors.

Great for basement retrofits

Would Recommend

I used about 20 of these for a seismic retrofit in my 1911 house. These plates come with 5 SDS screws for the mudsill but you need to determine how to attach it to your foundation. I drilled 5/8" holes with a roto hammer and set 1/2" threaded rod in the cleaned holes with 2-part concrete epoxy. Then after the epoxy set, I used washers and 1/2" nuts to attach the plates to the wall. It worked very well. I tried using Titen screws but the pressure for those anchors was too much and it split m...
