Seriously?? The Time does not display consistently

We replaced a 13 year old version of this range with this one today. Overall, it is great, BUT for some reason the time clock will not display consistently. The whole display goes blank when not in use. You have to physically touch the clock icon on the control panel to see the time. This is not mentioned in the manual, but my husband found other people complaining about the same thing. Supposedly, it's some kind of energy saver. Ha! Disappointed

Something as simple as having a clock on the display that is always lit. At best it stays on for 15 minutes after setting time. Burner controls that are accurate and consistent. The same thing for the oven. Accurate and consistent temperature. These are the things I find missing. Having to have a law degree to understand Terms and Conditions before one can submit a simple review. Telling.
