Why would anyone get this carpet?

I cannot express my dislike for this carpet enough. If conventional hall hotel vibes are your style, then maybe you’ll like the look, but the feel is rough, abrasive, and CERTAINLY not a good choice for kiddos or families with sensitive skin. Additionally, the subcontractors Lowe’s partnered with for installation arrived two hours late in an unmarked SUV and left dirty handprints on our freshly painted nursery wall. This carpet was selected by our landlord we didn’t have a choice, but if you do...

INCOMPLETE INSTALLATION...installers ran short of both padding and carpeting due to cutting errors...unable to finish after removing old carpet and pad...said they would order more carpet and pad and return to install at another time!!!

I purchased 3 carpet samples, one of which was “Revitalized” 34.1oz face weight Nylon loop carpet. The color was what we had in mind but the lower face weight combined with cut loop style does not mach up with our needs for this particular room in our house.
