Buy the correct type of boards for long term use.
Was pretty straight forward. The only thing not mentioned in the instructions is the best type of boards to use. I used regular dog ear fence pickets but I had to sand them to get a uniformed look. The down side to using this type of board is that they aren't really designed for this application. Attempts to contact the maker of the system for direction met with negative results.

Easy to install with great results
This sunblind system works really well. I love how I was able to buy two sets to make it a long version of it. Instructions are very easy to follow and I had no problems. Make sure to use light lumber and no thicker than 1" actual.
Buy your own screws
The screws that come in this set should be replaced with more heavy duty screws. We had to get longer screws for the L brackets being attached to the posts and the screws attached to the horizontal boards (we used the max thickness board allowed, 5/4, and the screws that came in the kit were just too short and kept coming out of the board). Our porch was at an angle and a bit crooked so we did have to buy nylon spacers to add to the black spacers already provided to ensure the brackets that conn...
