Not just for fabric wallcovering- best duster brush ever
I've been a joiner, trim carpenter and general contractor for over 40 years. I have used a Wall Weaver for almost as long. When I got my first one in the 1970's we just called them duster brushes. I haven't used them for fabric wall-coverings but for cleaning and prepping work areas it is without equal. It fits wonderfully in a nail pouch or back pocket. Most trim carpenters I have worked with buy one once they see it.

Brush loses hairs
I put the Valspar Brushed Pearl on my wall and this is the recommended brush to use. It is not cheap esp because I won't use it for any other paint jobs. The brush constantly lost hairs on the wall and with a tricky enough faux paint job, I could have done without that issue. I guess if I needed to say something good about it it would be that the 6" width is kind of useful for this type of job. I really can't suggest using a smaller brush so I guess you are stuck with this one for the brushed pe...

Good faux-effects brush - but practice first
This brush helped me achieve a beautiful faux-linen look on my dining room walls, but the corners of the room are tricky. It's hard to drag the brush all the way to the end without leaving blotches in the corners. Practice first.
