This pit boss has made me a better cook. Extremely easy to get a meal right because of the accuracy of the temperature control. Easy to clean and temperature stays exactly where you put it. QUIT WORKING IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS
I purchased this grill because of great reviews. After less than 2 years it quit working. I contacted Pitt Boss about this but never heard from them. I guess they don't care about their customers. Let me preface this by saying I wouldn't necessarily expect this same result for all cases. I bought this smoker in May of 2019. It gets used probably once a week on average. I have had to replace the motor 3 times but when I called customer service to inquire how to handle it, they were always happy to send a new motor. Does not heat consistently
Have used approximately 10 times over the past year and on 3 occasions, grill fire box completely shut down in the middle of a long smoke. Grill has never heated consistently. Programmed temperature, digital temperature, and grill lid analog temperature differ by 50-100 degrees.
