I have only had this model for under a year. about 3 months ago I noticed something wrong with it so I cleaned it up good and put new pellets back in and the box would smoke up a lot. So I stopped using it for the rest of the winter, cleaned it again, replaced pellets and again the pellet box smoked but this time it caught fire. so I threw it in the garbage. May not happen to all but sucks it happened to me.

Great basic pellet smoker
Used it for the first time over the weekend and very happy. Smoked salmon then chicken legs. Both turned out great. Temperature held perfectly. The hopper is a good size. I was a little worried about the chimney replaced by the 5 holes on top of the barrel but seemed to work well.
