Horrible serivce.

Door is fine, but was delivered wihtout a handle. when calling Lowes, the said I had to call Pella. When speaking to Pella, they said I needed to resolve it with Lowes. Neither wanted to take care of the issue.

Factory errors and scratches

Of course just as the delivery guys pull away and I unwrap the patio door I see two nice scratches a little bigger than a pea where the white fiberglass is now showing digging out the black powder coat. I decide instead of hauling this back to Lowes I will just try to touch them up with black paint. The more I look at it i also then see some bubbling under the black finish where it is pushed up into noticeable lumps. 118 Days from order to install!

Do NOT order a door from Lowes, San Marcos, TX! They lost my first door, then my 2nd door. When confronted, a millworks employee said their info said we returned the 1st door...NOT! When he went to the warehouse he found BOTH of them. They finally delivered it and 118 days from ordering it, installed it. What a bunch of poorly managed losers.

AVOID BUYING PELLA FROM LOWE'S **AT ALL COSTS**

Bought a door with the blinds in between the glass, and paid Lowe's to (hire someone to) install. The blinds on the sliding door were found to be broken immediately upon install! Screen Door & Handle

Okay. The product itself is fine. Just what I wanted. However, I guess that I missed that the handle is not included. Weird that it doesn't come with a handle since they don't offer different options for the handle finish. Also, I saw that it didn't include a screen door, but thought that I could just order one separately. Apparently, that isn't true either. There don't seem to be screen tracks built into this frame. does not come with handle or screen

Nowhere in the purchase of the product are you warned that the door requires an aftermarket Pella handle (other brands are incompatible.) They also don't mention that it does not come with a screen door and is incompatible with universal sliding screens. The door requires after market installation of a screen door track and much modification to achieve normal function of a standard sliding door with screen.

After having the door for a year I can’t complain about the quality of it. It is a solid door that slides easily and is well insulated. The Lowe's service that I received is down right terrible though. First they could not get me the correct handle that it supposedly comes with.
