light is beautiful with the crystals refractingthe light around the room. blades come out when the fan turns on. I did have to put the large crystal on the chain of smaller crystals, and then clip those to the plate, but I did it while watching a movie. the little crystals are already linked, so it's really not as much work as I thought from reading other reviews. the fan looks gorgeous in my room!

Absolutely love this light/fan! I hired someone to put it up and he didn't seem to have any trouble. I did follow someone else's recommendation to put the crystals on ahead of time. You will need small needle nose pliers and good eye glasses. It is beautiful, functional, and everyone agreed they had never seen a ceiling fan so classy!

Beautiful but broken
I purchased my fan 10/2022. It is broken. The lights will not operate with the remote. I can flip the switch and turn on the lights but the remote will not turn them on or off. It’s a little bit of a challenge to add all the crystals but mostly time consuming. I really like the look but it is half useless.. It actually died Dec, 2023. Just over a year old…. We tried to sync the remote again but that did not work. Beautiful but broken.
