Owens Corning ProEdge Teak Algae Resistant Hip Ridge Roof Shingles ( 33-lin ft per Bundle )

wrong color

the order I placed was for green shingles, which costed more. I picked up order and after driving home and inspecting the package the shingles are black. there is two problems with this. first is the shingles will not match second is the product delivered was less in cost. I waited over 10 days just to be disappointed and ripped off.

Nice Looking

These shingles go on easy and look great. My only grumble, which may be more for the vendor than the manufacturer, is I wish you could buy them by the square and not only the bundle. I got to within about 8 to 10 feet of having my entire roof completed and ran out of ridge shingles. Not only was it frustrating to have to drive all the way across town just to finish, but then I had to buy an entire bundle at about $72 (almost twice as much as regular bundles) Can't the store open up some bundles ...

Great shingle Ridge cap! I will be using it again!

I’ve used this ridge cap and shingles several times. Good matching color throughout. Seems like a great product.

Quality ridge shingle

The ridge shingles were the perfect balance between being able to separate them easily while still being able to throw half a bundle over my shoulder to distribute across my roof.

Sometimes when your short on money God provides.

I had Desert Rose shingles on my roof. These cap shingles were on sale for 19.99 a bundle. color was close enough that you can't tell the difference.

Ridge caps the easy way

Ridge easy to cut. How else would one cover the peak?

NO KNIFE NEEDED JUST FOLD FOR A CLEAN BREAK

I had a few ridge cap shingle missing and needed to get it repaired before the snow. I was able to fold and snap these prior to getting on the roof, and warmed then up in the house before going up, once up 2 nails each side per directions and it took less than 30 min to lay about 12 of these.

Ridge shingles

My installer liked the material and he told it looks better than GAF.

good quality

Easy to separate and install

Great Product, but a pain to carry

The shingles look great and the installation is easy to understand and easy to do. I was patching a spot that the previous roof owner fouled up and the 4 year old shingles look as new as the ones i just added. My only complaint is a problem wiht the entire shingle industry. The packaging is always shredded and you consistently use 1 or 2 shingles from every package due to damage. The packaging itself could be more clear about what type of shingle it is. Once again this is the entire industr...
