Orbit Mist 1/2-in PVC Split section coupling with mist nozzle 5 -Pack

Needed a misting system for a raised garden.

Work really good

Horrible service.

I ordered this and 1 minute later realized my mistake and Tried to cancel. They refused. I told his I’m going to return it. He didn’t care. Put the order through anyway.

Junk

The couplers leak from the PVC glue joints. I know it wasnt the glue or the application of the glue since all other non orbit couplings and elbows didnt leak at all. They're either too big on the 1/2" pipe or the solvent glue didnt react correctly with the couplers. Cant return them now that they're glued so it w as a huge waste of 40 bucks ( I bought 2 packs)

great product

durable and does the trick

Misters

It's already assembled and just need to add cut length of 1/2 inch PVC, water hose fitting and cap the end.

Leaking

Bought 4 packages of the misters glued together and found 4 pieces that leaked, removed the head and tied putting them back in but still leaking. Had to cut and replace and couldn’t return due to being glued. Once repaired and replaced they seems to be working alright but at after having to buy extra package to fix.

Good for Irrigation, not misting

Inspired by a YouTube video, I wanted to create a misting system within a 10 ft. portable canopy. They function just fine, but even under low pressure (with an inline regulator), they put out too much water for this application. You'd really need a good amount of height so the water could evaporate before contacting people, tables, chairs, etc. Even running for just a few minutes resulted in water pooling on the table and chairs under the canopy. These would be great for irrigation, which seem...

These should be in stock, and not special order.

They were manufactured perfectly for 1/2” pvc and it took me two hours total to install all of the twenty units every two feet.
