Also, once oven temperature is set, and a timer is subsequently started, the timer seems to pause/clear the oven from heating or maintaining original set temperature. Don't love: 1)how long it takes to heat up the stove top burners. 2)the oven still smells new after several burn in cycles and many uses. I bought Maytag because I thought it was a good brand. The griddle did not work when I got it. I called Maytag and they sent someone out to fix it. I went back and forth with this person for months because the griddle never got fixed. Maytag finally sent out another company to fix the issue. This person never fixed the issue either. Design & Simplicity

The only think I would suggest as an improvement would be the beeping sounds for the oven when cooking is completed. My husband wears earing aids & it's even hard for him to hear.
