Way overpriced. Almost $50 for a set of 4 small brackets. You are held hostage to the company if you need only a small section of railing to finish your deck. Each section of railing only comes with 4 holding brackets. No allowance for needing to cut pieces to fit.

Solid beautiful rail Assy

Very nice and robust rail assy. This is a lifetime rail assembly and if properly blocked at the posts offers a superior sturdy structure that you cannot get with wood especially over time. Visually is very beautiful

Model numbers

Check the compatible model numbers! Even though everything we got was a decorators ready rail in matte black aluminum this bracket kit is not compatible. There are a million and one model numbers and nothing available in store so I’m not sure how you’re going to find the right piece but good luck.

4 chipped brackets, should come w/touch-up paint.

All Four brackets arrived (unannounced aka no shipping/tracking notifications) with chipped powder coating probably due to being sealed up in their individually wrapped baggies and tossed the same box where they rattled and clanged their way through the soft and gently Mail system to me. At $50 (or 1/3 the cost of a the entire railing kit) for a few ounces of powder coated cast aluminum they could’ve splurged on a single thin piece of cardboard or even gone plush with some bubble wrap. Fit perfect

All of the hardware was included and made the installation easy.

Necessary connector kit for splitting a railing

The railing sections include one of this connector kits with each box. However, if you need to cut one of the sections, and plan to use the other half as well you will need to purchase one of these connector kits. It is exactly the same that comes with the rail section, and includes all of the necessary hardware for installation.

Aluminum Fence and Stair Railing

The quality of the product is excellent. The directions for installation are excellent but ordering parts not included took a lot longer than what is acceptable. The Lowe's employees at the Pro Desk were very knowledgeable and helpful.

great looking railings

While replacing our wood decks, we decided we didn’t want wood railings again, to much upkeep and they blocked too much of our view. We went with Deckorators and are so glad we did. They assemble & install easily and look terrific. The ability to purchase additional fasteners for the rails allow you to custom fit everything for your needs.

Great for making two sections out of one rail.

These brackets allowed me to use some leftover railing without having to buy a complete new rail with the hardware. Lowes should stock these as I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had partial rails that they were able to use but needed the hardware.
