Heavy door, you might need some help moving.

The doors are heavy so be prepared. I have used the solid core throughout my house and I like them. I am using these slap doors for sliding barn style doors in the basement. I had to order them but they showed up at the store 2 weeks ahead of time.

Exactly as advertised and easy to work with.

Exactly what you'd expect when ordering a door, arrived at my local Lowe's earlier than the original promised delivery date. Door feels solid, no damage and easy to work in place. Only negative would be the label used on the edge of the door was a bit of a bear to remove.

Good heavy doors

These doors provide sound isolation as they are not empty inside. They are flat and built to exact specified dimensions. The only thing I did not like was that they gave them to me at the store without any packaging - the guy at the store carried them on a Lowes trolley that left some minor dents. Also, the factory attached a large sticker which was very difficult to remove before painting.

These doors paint beautifully; however, the stickers that are attached to both sides of every door are almost impossible to remove. I spent more time removing the stickers than painting the doors.

Door warped

I ordered 2 of these slabs. They installed with the expected work however I didn't expect both to be warped. They are warped on the door lock side towards the top 12 inches. I didn't notice this untill i actually installed each door on the hinges. The hinge side of the doors seem to be OK, not warped.

Outstanding door

These 6 panel solid doors are easy to work with, finish nicely with a coat of paint and have a great sound reduction quality to them. I have them throughout the house and love them.
