Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
This top-load washer has a mixed reception, with customers reporting both positive and negative experiences. On the positive side, many are satisfied with its large capacity, efficient water usage, quiet operation, and effective cleaning. However, a significant number have encountered issues such as problems with the control panel, leaks, and the machine going out of balance or failing prematurely. Some also found the water level and cycle times to be inadequate. While the majority of reviews are positive, the recurring problems suggest this model may not be as reliable as expected, especially long-term. Customers should carefully consider the pros and cons before purchasing.

The absolute worst washing machine that I have ever owned. My clothes should not come out of the washing machine dirtier than when they go in. I am now running the tub clean cycle twice per week. Halfway through the tub clean cycle when the water level is high I take a strainer that I bought specifically for this purpose because it is so disgusting and strain out the chunks of brown stuff...not sure how else to describe it but it is disgusting. My husband has taken the machine apart numerous tim...

Can’t even wash a king sized sheet set!
Despite the large capacity tub this washer will not wash a set of king sized sheets without issues. And more than 1 pair of jeans-forget it! Why have a large tub but washer cannot handle a large load.

Low water levels- don’t recommend
This washing machine has been a huge disappointment. With every load, we have to use the “Water Plus” mode, otherwise half of the clothing doesn’t even get wet. It doesn’t really wash, would definitely go back to one with an agitator.

"Our experience has been mostly positive"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our experience has been mostly positive with solving most issues, except for one. We went from a front load machine to this LG wash machine and mostly satisfied with the wash machine. The washer is large enough for a few blankets which it good. It is easy to load in my opinion. One of the tips on loading a large load or blankets is to balance the load equally all around basin or sometimes it will rock in spin cycle. If you are 5 feet tall you ...

HUGE, SUPER QUIET and Energy Efficient!
What an upgrade!!! My old 10+ year old washer had an agitator inside while this new one does not. Therefore, I was skeptical how well this new LG will wash without a center agitator. To my amazement the clothes came out clean and fresh while using only a fraction of the water. The old washer would fill up with water based on the load size I’d select wasting a ton of water. This new LG (WT7300CW) determines the amount of water needed automatically based on the wash cycle selected and by weighing ...

Do not buy!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worst washing machine I've ever owned/used! I've been stuck with this washer for a few years now and absolutely hate it. It never fills with enough water, even when using water plus. Clothes on top wouldn't even be wet. I used to have to wet the clothes before turning on just to make them heavier and tricking the washer into thinking there were more clothes, so it would put more water. My husband eventually put a hose faucet on the tub next to ...

Needs improvement.
Unfortunately at this time I can’t leave a positive review because it is lacking refinement and functionality in several areas. The washing plate it is a unfinished project and acts like a gunk filter and gunk magnet. It needs major improvement or a new better design. Recently I replaced this part with an updated LG wash plate with the backing partially skeletonized. This one it is a step further but not good enough. I’m working myself on retrofitting the original plate with even more open surf...

Impeller broke/ bolt to remove won’t budge
I’ve had my direct drive lg turbo balance for 6 years. It stopped moving the wash. Found it was the impeller…easy fix, but the bolt would not come out to replace it. Tried everything…heat, pb buster… Had to replace the whole washer bc a service call/repair would now cost more than half of a new one, maybe as much…it looks brand new and is totally taken care of. Makes me sick to have to buy a new washer with what we paid for this one…

Won't Power On - Very Common Problem
The electronics on this machine leave a lot to be desired. I purchased this back in 2020. This year it started not powering on. The solution has been to unplug it for several minutes (or longer) and then to replug it in. The system seems to need to de-energize. I've tried the reset (unplug, push "On" for 5 seconds, push "Start" for 5 seconds), but that hasn't worked for me. Search online for "LG top loading washing not powering on" and you will find a LOT of complaints about this. I repla...

So glad my 25-yr-old Whirlpool washer died!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After researching washing machines online and reading a bunch of different reviews on a number of websites, we decided to go with an LG product because LG was always at the top of the ratings. We originally were going to get the 7600 model, but changed our minds after speaking with a sales rep at the store where we purchased. I LOVE this machine! The Pros: 1) Cleaning capability is phenomenal: Both my husband and I have jobs where our c...
