The absolute worst washing machine that I have ever owned. My clothes should not come out of the washing machine dirtier than when they go in. I am now running the tub clean cycle twice per week. Halfway through the tub clean cycle when the water level is high I take a strainer that I bought specifically for this purpose because it is so disgusting and strain out the chunks of brown stuff...not sure how else to describe it but it is disgusting. Can’t even wash a king sized sheet set!
Despite the large capacity tub this washer will not wash a set of king sized sheets without issues. And more than 1 pair of jeans-forget it! Why have a large tub but washer cannot handle a large load.

Low water levels- don’t recommend
This washing machine has been a huge disappointment. With every load, we have to use the “Water Plus” mode, otherwise half of the clothing doesn’t even get wet. It doesn’t really wash, would definitely go back to one with an agitator.

Unfortunately at this time I can’t leave a positive review because it is lacking refinement and functionality in several areas. The washing plate it is a unfinished project and acts like a gunk filter and gunk magnet. It needs major improvement or a new better design. Impeller broke/ bolt to remove won’t budge
I’ve had my direct drive lg turbo balance for 6 years. It stopped moving the wash. Found it was the impeller…easy fix, but the bolt would not come out to replace it. Tried everything…heat, pb buster… Had to replace the whole washer bc a service call/repair would now cost more than half of a new one, maybe as much…it looks brand new and is totally taken care of. Makes me sick to have to buy a new washer with what we paid for this one…

Won't Power On - Very Common Problem
The electronics on this machine leave a lot to be desired. I purchased this back in 2020. This year it started not powering on. The solution has been to unplug it for several minutes (or longer) and then to replug it in. The system seems to need to de-energize.
