A Great Choice

I bought this LG dishwasher to replace an approximately 10-11 year old LG. I basically got the new version. It cleans very well, runs quietly, dries well. It’s very good for the $. A cheap DW costs more to run, maybe doesn’t clean as well. An expensive one is not guaranteed to last longer than 10 yrs. This LG seems to hi the sweet spot of affordability, efficiency and efficacy. a lot is good but the racks are awful

It does a great job cleaning the dishes. I like the way it looks. It is sleek and simple. I like how the door automatically pops open at the end to speed the drying. I hate the racks. The bottom rack jumps off the track unless you very gently push it in. Also the left front wheel keeps falling off. The top rack tines are weirdly angled. Low quality product

Have had dishwasher since 5/24 and is already breaking down. Call lg and they said it would cost us $424.36 for service labor and parts. That only about $150 less then what we paid for it new. Had a local repair person come too look at it. They said it was the direct drive which warranty for it is 10 years. But LG said it would still cost us $424.36 since we didn't get the extended warranty for labor and repairs. What a rip off! No more LG products again in this house.

Beautiful look but not durable.

I loved my dishwasher but in less than a year it crashed. It stop doing a whole sickle, it sounded as it was just draining and it won't stop, I had to pull the braker down for it to stop. It was unrepairable.

BE Error Code

Within the first week of purchasing this dishwasher it would have an error code of BE about 50% of the time. Lowe’s did send out a technician but unless it shows the code when he’s there’s nothing he could do. Next up LG support. We’ve been waiting for a LG technician to show up for 3 weeks now. Nothing. Terrible product, terrible service.

Unbelievable!

After less than two years, the control board starts to glitch. We followed all of the online instructions including making sure all of the racks were pushed in, turning off the power, making sure the internal panel is sealed, etc. and the problem just got worse. I finally called LG and while their website says that the control board has an extended warranty of five years, our board only has two and is therefore expired. Dishwasher

Not designed for those who do a lot of baking or cooking, only for those who wash a 10 piece setting of dishes and flatware. Huge space in the bottom rack so nothing that needs support can be put there. 2 plates have already been broken during the washing. The silverware rack will not hold utensils with big handles, the top rack will only hold flatware and narrow and small items. Not what I was hoping for

I bought this to replace an older Frigidaire that was no longer getting dishes clean, I believe the pump was going bad. Based on Consumer Reports ratings and reviews I expected good performance out of this LG dishwasher. Installing it was simple enough, looks great in the kitchen. Runs extremely quiet. Poor delivery

Delivery times not met. Was given a 1800 delivery yet the machine has not been brought here. Tried calling delivery team with no response. Delivery is being marked as in progress with the team at my house delivering my appliance for over 30 minutes now, but there is no team here and the map shows they’re at a different house.
