No worries about retractable screens rolling into door frame that will break over time. This door has the framed glass that simply lowers to expose built in screen. Adjustable for perfect air ventilation. This Aluminum door does not have any wood core that would deteriorate over time. That was my biggest concern. Great curb appeal.

I've had nothing but trouble with this door, the hinges are a SQUEAK FEST. I sprayed in multiple types of lubricants on the hinges, and it keeps quiet for a bit but after using the door, the SQUEAKS come right back. The door closer I had to replace already twice in 2 years. The first one was under warranty and the second I had to pay for another one even though this door is supposed to have a 5-year warranty, yea right, read the fine print. Don't drill holes if not using a Larson handle

I love my Door. The window is so easy to put up and down. If you predrill the holes using the template provided you have too use a Larson Brand handle. Otherwise the plates may not cover the holes as we found out.
