I bought this tile bit to drill 6 holes in ceramic tile to mount a grab handle inside a shower. The instructions say to keep it wet with water as you drill for longevity, this I did with a spray bottle. A few tips here: Use a center punch to start the hole else the bit will walk off your mark, tap lightly...too hard will crack the tile. Bought these (1/4” and 5/16”) when I needed to drill some holes through my tile in the shower to install a glass door and it worked great for starting the hole in porcelain but I used hole bit to finish through the rest to save the bit. Overall I liked these, can’t go wrong with these.

Perfect bit for an easy job

Drill bit did a great job drilling some holes through ceramic tile to install a towel hook in a shower. It helped to keep a simple job simple!

Broke

This product was bought to drill holes in plates. It made it through two plates before breaking.

Good for one hole…

At first I was impressed. I was installing a grab handle for an elderly woman and had bought this bit to get through the tile. This bit got through one hole that I had previously gotten staked with a similar Bosch bit. The Bosch was better but it also broke. This one was sharper but only through one hole. Both were garbage.Jack
