Drain base wasn't level.
We are pleased with the shower base except that the drain base wasn't ground level on the underside. It would have delayed the project so our GC was able to make it work, but warned that it was a big bummer because it affects the way it seals. We checked it upon arrival, but that was something we just didn't know to look for.

Poorly Constructed!!
This pan is all uneven and the underportion is worse. The corners were all chipped...for the price, it is not worth it!! Dreamline is SO much better!!

Bowed and missing feet
When we tried installing this shower base we discovered there was a massive bow on the outer edge of the base. There was a 1/4” dip in the center of the shower pan which made it un-installable. There were only three legs and the instructions appeared to demonstrate 6. I was disappointed in the quality of the manufacturing of this product.

Product Information is Misleading
The information provided with this shower base says it is compatible with Coregraph and other Kohler shower surrounds. This is far from the truth. There is no shower surround in either Kohler or Sterling products that matches a 32" x 48" shower base. I was told by product support that I would need to modify a Coregraph surround to use with this product. Nice to learn this after I have the base installed.

Warped unit
Purchased this shower pan for a guest house and was excited to have a nice Kohler pan installed. However, when the plumber went to install it he noted that the pan was warped and didn’t want to install it. Pan is warped a good 1/4”-1/2”. Then the plumber noted that there was no drain included.
