Inferior Materials, Premium Price
My fault for reading too deep into the word "composite". I was hunting for a door that was solid (check), looked good (check), and durable (not so much). It needs to survive children and dogs, which it will not do. Composite in this use means multiple materials none of which happen to be any form of durable plastic or wood. The inner core of the door is the typical chip board we find in most wood products these days and the outer layer is MDF. Great for sound damping but terrible at prevent...
Door isn't square
These doors are very very cheap and aren't square. Trying to install and the top is 1/8" different than the bottom and it doesn't fit into the frame it came with. Such a waste of money. Should have ordered from our local building company and spent 50% more, just to avoid the headache!

Don't buy Jeld-Wen
Pushed back my delivery date 5x. The last 2x was the day before scheduled delivery. Ended up cancelling the order and having to start all over. It won't be Jeld-wen.

Crummy Doors
I bought two of these doors. First there are no finish edges. I routed them myself. Made of MDF fiberboard! Primered with planer marks! Had to sand the primer off. Prime again and paint. Complained to the manager he agreed but didn't do anything about it. We do very expensive remodeling. These are not good and the paperwork doesn't reflect the product or quality at all. We were using 1x4 door trim. $14/8' primed. It has planner marks too. 10' prices didn't. Raymond agreed. But that trim is stil...

Poor paint finish
Next time I won't bother with the pre-painted option. Doors arrived with uneven coats in spots and many scuff marks. It's nice that they include a little vial of touchup paint, but given the condition they ought to attach a pint. These need to be packaged with more protection if they're going to stand a chance of surviving delivery.

Purchased 5 of these doors. 3 of them were in fair shape, 2 of them were badly damaged and poorly primed with dings that had been primed over so it seemed to happen in production and they just attempted to hide it with primer.

Shortage of Products
I absolutely love the style of this door. HOWEVER, one of the 2 I ordered arrived damaged. I can't reorder due to length of time required to get products. I'm hoping some wood filler and then paint will cover over the damage.
