poor all around
problem after problem. door was ordered as outswing. brickmould trim was included not installed. was precut to fit INSIDE of door too short to fit EXTERIOR. required jamb extension that was an entire additional problem. instructions included were so generic that it did not include outswing french door. definitely will never buy a jeld wen product again

This review isn’t about the door itself, but about the wait time, which buyers should be aware of. I ordered the door online on 8/18/25 with a listed pickup date of 9/15/25. That date stayed the same until 9/16, when the status switched to “delayed” without explanation. On 9/19, I called Lowe’s support, who contacted JeldWen and told me the door wouldn’t be available until at least 10/30/25. Strangely, Lowe’s website still shows that if I buy today, pickup would be 10/20/25, with 5,000+ “availab...

unbelievably poor quality control
I ordered 2 of these doors. The locks on both doors were installed on the wrong side (the key mechanism is on the inside of the door). The bottom vertical locking mechanism on one of the doors doesn't function. The striker and door stop is installed on the wrong side of the other door. How does a door (or in this case 2 doors) get manufactured this way and then how do they make it through quality control? Height Spec is Inaccurate - Quality Issue - Beware
Lowes website spec shows this out-swing door unit to be Actual Height of 79.5", which is a common door measurement. We ordered this, took delivery after 4-5 weeks, and had it installed. Turns out it is only 78.0" high. Of course no one noticed until the job was done. Thankfully our local Lowes did work with us to facilitate an exchange; although we did have to pay up front again to order the in-swing version (which did actually measure 79.5" high), then bring back the first door in order to rece...
