Factory Defect
I purchased two Hunter Southern Breeze fans and hired a contractor to install them. One fan was fine. The other fan had a factory defect that prevented the contractor from finishing the job and it was returned to Lowe's as defective. Another fan was ordered as a replacement. The problem was that the blade arm screws did not fit into the motor housing to attach the fan blades. The pre-assembled blade arm screws and shipping blocks that came out of the box were very hard to remove from the stampe...

Really super quiet
Love this fan. "That sound which you do not hear...." Run it at night in the bedroom. it was easy to install, always a plus, instructions written in English by a native English speaker, also a plus. (Naturally I dropped one of the canopy screws into the motor & had to take it down, turn it upside down, & start over. Be careful with the canopy screws. The ventilation holes on the top of the motor are easily large enough to drop things into.)

Bought Three and Have Replaced One
I bought three of these fans just over a year ago, just replaced one today because light kit failed when two light bulbs burnt out at the same time. These fans eat LED bulbs. I have replaced all of the bulbs (9 total) at least once and a few more than once. Two of these fans are in rooms where there is little use, so the bulbs should last longer than a few months.
