Durable, low profile, classy outlet for island

The outlet is low profile and classy looking on the top while doesn’t take up a lot of space under the counter top like most other outlets we looked at did. Well built with metal top and bonus that it’s hard wired in to avoid cords getting in the way of drawers in island. Retrace feature is smooth and seems durable.

Looks good, can stick shut

Ordered two of them, one works great, but the other occasionally sticks in the downward position making me press it multiple times to get it to release and rise.

Dimensions not as advertised

The dimensions printed in Lowe's marketing for these pop-up sockets are incorrect. We had three holes cut in a countertop slab per the advertised dimensions (we sent the cabinet contractor the product link), and they ended up being much too large. We are now returning these to get outlets that fit the drilled holes. Lowe's did not take ownership of this error when our contractor brought it to their attention. Great when you’re not near a wall.

I have two of these and find them very useful. I have a lot of expensive feature filled, specialty, outlets (USB, Night light, specialty dimmers, Low voltage, etc.) But these pop-ups might be the best built outlets in my home. I ordered 3 WHITE outlets. What I got was 2 white outlets, and 1 brushed nickel outlet, with no explanation. The product is great. Now I have go through the headache to rectify the order. Oh this is also holding up my paying job.

Hidden plug.

I recieved this product and based on the Lowes website product images you can see that they mounted the plug in the kitchen counter. After some thought, I decided that this is not the ideal location because kitchen appliances are always plugged in at out house and there are tons of wall plugs in our kitchen.
