PEONY: Peony plants bear an attractive, glossy green foliage that reaches 2'-3' in height with a similar spread. But their popularity is due mainly to their flowers. Peony plants bloom in late spring or early summer. There are peony plants that are indigenous to China, Europe and the Western U.S. Peony 'Raspberry Sundae'. Yummy "double bomb" type of light raspberry in the center that blends to white just above light pink guard petals. "The Queen of Garden Flowers!" We offer the best, free blooming varieties. Flowers are 5-7" across. During late spring-early summer, they fill the garden with fragrance; long-lasting, ideal for cutting. Plant as a short hedge or in small groups in a border.
