Exterior duplex coating is 20x more corrosion-resistant than zinc and 2x more corrosion-resistant than galvanized
Install by pushing the carriage bolt through a pre-drilled hole, secure placement with hex nuts and washers
Common applications include security fixings, decking, fencing, furniture, outdoor play equipment; places where the bolt must only be removable from one side
The self-locking square section on the underside of the head pulls into the wooden material as hex nuts are tightened, eliminating spinning after installation

4” carriage bolts
I grabbed 2 of these from the bin, I just knew I would have to check threads. But to my surprise. The first two I grabbed were perfect. So I looked at a few more and ended up buying a a couple more just to have. The were coated nicely with black, I even had to pound them with the hammer a few times and didn’t chip or scuff them. They bolted nicely with the nuts and washers. They’ve been in the weather for a couple months now and still basically look brand new.
