Concord Grape's fruit clusters have deep purple color and vigorous, hardy growth. Harvest Concord Grapes in early fall. To encourage development of strong canes, remove all flower clusters produced in the first year. In the second year, remove all but 4 of the best side canes to form a double T. Select a good, pencil-size fruiting cane on each of 4-arms and trim back to 8 to 10 buds. Place in full sun for 6 or more hours per day for ideal growth.
