Triumph™ Reachables Apple Fruit Tree is a new cultivar that is tops for gardeners who want to grow crisp, flavorful apples with minimal sprays. Triumph™ shows excellent scab tolerance and contains two forms of genetic scab resistance. Created by crossing the popular Honeycrisp and the Liberty apple trees, Triumph™ Apple Tree produces firm, pleasantly tart fruits with just the right balance of sugars and acids. They're wonderful for fresh eating and store well, too, lasting for up to 6 months in storage. Fruits ripen in late September. This is a Reachables™ Apple Tree that produces full-sized fruits, but on a smaller tree. That makes it easier to fit into your garden, orchard—or even a container. It's also easier to manage than full-sized trees. Our Reachables™ trees bear a small fruit crop in under two years, and larger crops in the subsequent years. One person can prune, spray, net and harvest the tree—all while standing on the ground. Note: Because their full-sized fruits grow on smaller trees, Reachables™ require a tree support. Bred by the University of Minnesota, Triumph is hardy to USDA zone 4. Blooms in late spring so another late spring blooming variety is needed for pollination. Hardy in USDA zones 4 to 8.
