It does work but not nearly as easy as it claims. I've found out off all the goof off variations the original is still the best.

cant believe it worked!!!
So I don’t have a before picture because I was devastated and crying in panic after my husband inadvertently stepped in wet black paint on the drop cloth from that handrail I had painted and left 5 wet black drops on the stairs unknowingly on my new light beige carpet. Just simply didn't work.
Really disappointed. Wanted this product to work so bad. Had a few small drops on carpet in a bedroom I was painting. Paint color was light blue and carpet was beige/tan. Not sure if that really matters but am including it in the review to help others. Not sure if the reviews are fake or just simply "free product to right a review" type of reviews but this did not work "AS ADVERTISED". Will be requesting a full refund from lowes.
