Achieves UL GREENGUARD Gold Certification for low chemical emissions into indoor air during product usage.
Lightweight, cost-efficient material that readily accepts a wide range of decorative finishes.
Cuts easily for quick installation, permitting painting or other decoration and the installation of metal or wood trim almost immediately.
Dimensionally stable under changes in temperature and relative humidity and resists warping, rippling, buckling, and sagging.
The gypsum core will not support combustion or transmit temperatures greatly in excess of 212°F (100°C) until completely calcined, a slow process.

This did the job perfectly. I didn't need a lot because I just needed to fix a hole in my ceiling caused by a pipe leak. However, it was just the thickness we needed. Did what it needed to.

Excellent value and quality product
This item came as described. Plan to have at least 3 people to help with installation and lifting, unless you rented a lift. It is heavy due to thickness (5/8") and fire resistant. It definitely made a difference in the heating of our studio after the weather changed.
