after 1 year it just stopped working. genie takes over an hour to get help online and we spent 2 hours with them in over 100 degree heat trying to diagnose. genie sent us a new board. still doesn't work and again wants us to wait hours on the phone to talk with a tech to try and diagnose. Lowe's warranty plan doesn't kick in until year 5. my dad is 94 and can't lift the door manually. we live an hour away. I called a local guy to try and fix and they charged us $40 to tell us it was installed wr...
Great choice for a replacement garage door opener
The package contained basically everything I needed to do the install. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The unit is much quieter than the 30+ year old opener it replaced. Two remotes plus an outdoor keypad included are great too.
