Horrible Washer

I've had this washer since May of 2025. The cheap plastic lid broke around March 2026. It was still under warranty so I had it repaired for free. It is now July 2026 and the lid is breaking again. Now it is not under warranty. The parts cost $315.00 to replace the lid. I can get a new washer for $400.00. The machine is ALWAYS off balance and shutting off due to this. This was a horrible purchase.

Love the open barrel super for larger load

This is my second GE open washer i abosolutly love it . My first one was a GE Profile loved it do not have nothimg bad to say about either one of them. Great performamce get your cloths super clean . Just make sure ro plug i to a surge protector.i only had my other one few years it had been thru my lights flickering going out. Ext.but the last thunserstorm and lighting fried my contol panle on the waaher so i just bought another one .this time its hook to a protector

Just doesn't work as expected

Writing this review after one year of use. Unit was delivered leaking from the water inlet - after verifying it wasn't the hoses, a technician came and replace the part. GE sent the part directly to me once I scheduled the appointment, but didn't tell me they were doing so - it just showed up - luckily before the technician! Exceeded My Expectations --Glad I Made the Switch

Cheaper made

I had a GE profile washer and dryer for over 15 years. This new washer is so much more cheaply made. It has so much that is not as good or strong as the other one I had. I know it won’t last 15 years. I got one delivered and it wouldn’t work at all. They delivered another 2 days later and it does work but just not what I expected.

Terrible washing machine. Worst appliance

This washing machine sucks. Performance is terrible. It cancels loads midway through the wash cycle, no matter how garments or items are put in it, everything ends up tangled and on one side. So then you’re stuck pulling heavy, soaking wet clothing out of it just to rearrange them you can restart the cycle. Sometimes 3 or more times! It’s Wasting more time, energy and money. Great until it wasn't

Had this washer only 2 years. Already replaced the main control board and that did not fix the problem. I am unable to put it in the mode where the washer gives a code because the buttons are not responding. It say leaked detected but with all the lights lit up I have no idea if it is a true code.

HORRIBlE/BUYER BEWARE!!!

I never write reviews ever! But I felt that people need to know this is a horrible appliance! Bought in sept 2024 stopped working properly in December 2024. Awful Delivery Experience/Washer works as expected

The delivery experience with Lowe’s was horrible. Initial delivery date changed late afternoon the day before delivery, I even rescheduled an appointment for it to be delivered this specific day. They rescheduled the delivery for the following week, very inconvenient as we had already disposed of our previous machines expecting to have our new machines by the original delivery date.
