Does not fit stated board size

I purchased the size described to work with a 1x6 board with a width of 5.5 inches. While the inside measurement is 5.5 inches, this does not account for the bevel of the curve. A 5 inch or 5.25 inch board is required to sit flat in the bracket. Paint finish is rough, sharp edges.

As others have mentioned when first taking these out of the wrapped plastic the first thing you notice is how rough the edges are. These brackets are built with quick production in mind, the steel is sheared, drilled, bent in a brake and wrapped in plastic. I order 12 of these and at $30 something a piece there is an expectation that you are paying for a product that is ready to be installed. Not Stainless - misleading product description

This item is most assuredly NOT stainless. It's regular zinc plated steel. If you need it to be actually stainless, find something else. It is very sturdy though, so it has that in its favor.

Sturdy bracket

Very sturdy but the paint (I ordered black) was a little chipped. No biggie as function was more important than aesthetics.

Nice but edges are very sharp

These are nice and heavy duty however it would be nice if they buffed the edges a bit. They are very sharp and will cut you.
