May need light sanding before painting
It was well-packed and as pictured. The only thing is that the factory spray paint left a rough surface, and I'll have to do some sanding to smooth it out.

Ekena fretwork panel is very rough around edges
The panel is nice but will trap dirt in the pores where it was routed if not painted. I have included close up photos to show how rough the surface is. The front smooth surface is nice though.

Great product
I wanted wainscoting without the measuring and getting the guys at the hardware store to cut pieces for me. These are perfect. I wouldn't say they're PVC like you would use on pipes. It more feels and acts like particle board that hasn't been covered yet. The back feels like PVC. I painted them ahead of time, like the directions said. I hired someone to hang these for me and he made several recommendations, and none of them were what the directions suggested. He hung them like pictures by adding...

Love to sand?
While the design is nice the amount of sanding is monumental. The center portion is fine, but everything around it is awful. I sanded and sanded, but when I tried painting the roughness was still visible. Thought I was purchasing a quality product, but it is not.

These panels are great.
The pvc trim/frame had deteriorated on my exterior storm door. After I had removed the trim and the screws, I had an unsightly mess on my hands. I ordered these panels, which, though slightly larger than the original trim, completely covered the prior area. The door looks brand new and, in my opinion, better than before. Though the panels are marketed in a horizontal position, I chose to use them in a vertical position. I used silicone for adherence and four finish nails, one in each corner...

Heavenly Wall Panel
I love these panels. They are nicely made and looks expensive. I wish they had more smaller Width but longer for small spaces! I plan to do my entire house with these. So, I order a few at a time until I am ready to install. Thanks
