Bows out at center - not flush to ceiling

Took 4 weeks longer than expected delivery date, Lowe customer service took forever to speak e live person who then couldn’t tell me where my package was. I called 3 times and each call well over an hour! When finally recieved, it will not work for my project. The center bows out and needs to be flush w ceiling to hold fixture. So, 4 weeks waiting and delaying!

Ceiling medallion-The only one negative part of this is that the actual ceiling medallion itself and the size did not have the pre-drilled hole, as pictured

Pretty, ornate

We selected this medallion b/c the design coordinates with the crown moulding we recently added. It seems a little bulky to me, but that's probably b/c of its detailed design...it made the dining room ceiling feel lower to me once we put it up. But the husband likes it and maybe I just need to get used to it being there.

Great product with one caveat -Manufacturing Issue

I bought two of these to go over pendant lights in my kitchen. I've put up many urethane ceiling medallions around my house over the years and I've never before run into the issue I had with these. The manufacturer overfilled the molds, so the backs of these medallions were domed and they didn't fit snugly against the ceiling. I had to use a power multi tool scraper and chisel to remove a lot of material from the backs of mine, which was a hassle and a mess. Had I not done that, it would hav...
