Block of Ice
Plus side it is quiet, but impossible to use as I need to defrost monthly as it turns into a block of ice that can not be scooped and the ice maker freezes up and needs to be thawed.

This ice machine has to be defrosted at least once per month. When it does work properly the ice is cloudy at best and hard to scoop.

Finally, a quiet ice maker!
This is our 2nd ice maker, with the first being a different brand and very expensive. Granted it made fancy “clear ice”, but…. The machine was always running water to make that ice and therefore, it was too loud for a bar that is near a bedroom. Guests would ask “how do you turn that off?” It finally died, which prompted us to look for something else. This one has been perfect! 1/3 the price and has a freezer function so it actually keeps the ice as ice and does not constantly melt like th...
