The Deck Plus® hex lag bolt is a Grade 2 bolt, perfect for exterior wood projects. Its tan color is a great compliment for wood deck and fence construction. This bolt has a duplex coating that is 2X more corrosion resistant than galvanized fasteners, and provides 4 layers of protection from sun, rain, snow, and chemicals. Its coarse threads are designed for pre-drilled holes to prevent splitting or snapping, and it has a hex drive for controlled traction with a socket or wrench. Use this bolt with washers of the same diameter, material, and finish for best results.
