For 1/2 inch male threaded short stub-out nipple make sure pipe stub-out is between 1/2 inches and 3/4 inches long

For 1/2 inch male threaded long stub-out nipple make sure pipe stub-out is between 3-3/4 inches and 4 inches long

For 3/4 inch male threaded stub-out the threaded pipe stub-out must be 3/4 inches and 1 inches long
