I put this up to keep my dog from squeezing through the railing.

Good, but can be brittle.
It is very clear and it comes with a protective backing on both sides of it to keep it from getting scratches and transit. Unfortunately, the corner of mine broke when I was drilling through it and I don’t feel that it was really the products drawback, but it is something you need to be aware of. If you’re going to drill a hole in it, it’s best to keep it on a flat surface and even better drill through one piece of wood into it into another piece of wood and that should keep it from breaking.
