Drylok UGL White is a powder etch and cleaner designed to prepare interior and exterior masonry and concrete for waterproofing and painting. It removes efflorescence (salt deposits) and excess mortar, and is effective on tile, galvanized metal, stone, concrete, brick, stucco, and ceramic tile. Coverage is approximately 300 sq ft per 12 fl oz when used as a cleaner and about 150 sq ft per 12 fl oz when used as an etch. Prepare surfaces by washing away dirt, dust, grease, and oil with a detergent solution and allow them to dry. Apply by etching with a stiff-bristle brush, keeping the area wet during the process.
