Wrong Box

I purchased this toolbox online because it was the only Lowe's that had the box I wanted. I drove to KC to get it, they brought it out, loaded it. I drove 2 hours home and when I unboxed it it was the wrong box, installed it and when i was taking off the sticker inside the box I realizedit was wrong. Yes I should have double checked i was picking up the correct box but the store should have picked the correct box off the shelf.

Truck Box

I am very happy with this tool box from Lowe's. It was easy to assemble, feels sturdy and well-built, and provides plenty of storage space for my tools. The drawers open and close smoothly, and it helps keep everything organized and easy to find. The quality is excellent for the price, and it looks great in my garage. No wonder it was on clearance

It is fake aluminum plate (pressed metal). It is thin and dings easily. It had shallower side pockets than my last one and doesn't include a slide drawer. The latch release is smooth so far. If I didn't get it lower than the listed clearance price I'd be peeved.

Will Not Fit Ram 1500 short Bed

Will not fit a 5.7’ Ram 1500 Bed. Had to use 1” spacers to raise it up enough to clear the wheel wells.

Craftsman no longer means quality.

Craftsman is no longer a quality brand. This tool box is pretty disappointing for something that cost over $400. The 2 big issues I have is the powder coat job is terrible and it is already warped straight out of the box. The powder coat has multiple defects, scratches through to bare metal, and wrinkle in it. Install the two J-hooks closest to the cab first.

T Recently purchased a Regular cab RAM 1500 with 8' bed and was seeking a sturdy water-tight tool box for the bed. Pickup at the local Lowes store was a breeze and the tool box was in perfect condition. Installation with the J-hooks that came with the tool box was a breeze and fits as it should.

Great price on a quality tool box.

Tool box is well constructed even though it is very light weight. Included mounting hardware that was easy to install. Tool box has plenty of storage space for things that usually pile up inside the vehicle.

What you Expect from Craftsman and Lowes

This is a high quality product, fitting in with the Craftsman brand. Had it pulled for pick up and was in and out of the store in 10 minutes already loaded into my truck. Great product and convenient service provided by Lowes staff.

Buy on sale only

Quality control is lacking on this box now days. I had a mode from 2020 and it was built better. Most rivets are going to need to be drilled out and redone. Weather strip I will have to fix due to horrible alignment which would not seal out water, weld splatter that wasn’t cleaned before box was coated, and bent panel which appears to have been bent to make a weld line meet up. The product was fine until I looked at the user manual and realized I brought the tool box home with the organizer missing. I didn't think much of it because I this is my second time going to Lowes, this time a different location, to find this product but without defects.
