The Bernzomatic DuraCast 4000 Torch provides high-output heat for large-diameter soldering, light brazing, woodworking and cooking applications. Its swirl flame wraps around the workpiece to promote fast, even heating. Instant on/off ignition makes lighting and shutdown convenient, while the continuous flame lock supports longer projects without holding the trigger. The pressure-regulated design helps reduce flame pulsation or yellowing when the torch is inverted, and the torch can be used at any angle for better access. A durable cast body is built for repeated workshop and jobsite use. Compatible with 14.1-oz MAP-Pro and 14.1-oz or 16-oz propane fuel cylinders, sold separately. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this torch for its reliability, ease of use, and robust performance. The auto-start and run-lock features light instantly with a button press and stay lit continuously, eliminating the need for separate lighters. Users report exceptional heat output that gets jobs done quickly across plumbing, soldering, and woodworking tasks. The torch is described as exceptionally well-built with solid construction and comfortable grip, with many expecting it to last for years. A few note the wide flame limits precision on small work, and rare isolated reports mention ignition failures, but these are vastly outweighed by strong satisfaction and repeat purchases.
