Bend-A-Drain 3-in x 3-in Corrugated Downspout Adapter Fittings

Not for 3” pipe

This fits 3” pipe but in the most ridiculous manner it goes outside the 3”....you dont channel water by connecting outside, it leaks all over and this makes the leak in the worst spot possible - right under your eaves at the foundation.

NOT usable on 3 in pipe

This adapter is not usable on 3 in pipe as advertised. You have to cut the adapter and even then it barely fits on the *outside* of the outbound pipe which is not appropriate for running water away from a location. 1 Star because product is not as advertised. Ordered online and not offered at my store so I'm essentially stuck paying for a product that doesn't function.

Completetly Useless

Somehow, someone designed a fitting that cannot possibly be inserted into a 3" corrugated drainage pipe. Then they manufactured a few grosses of them. If this is meant to be slipped over a 3" corrugated drainage pipe then its a very poor design that would leak terribly. The "-------Cut Line-------" molded into the piece makes no sense an there are no instructions as to how to make it work. I will be returning mine to Lowes. This was a complete waste of precious time.

Just what we needed!

We have had a downspout adapter ever since we moved into this house. We've lived for 20 years with a corrugated downspout that extended 5' away from our house, but made it difficult to get in and out of our garage. When we finally had the driveway repaired so there was no longer a ditch where the water had worn it away, we got this 3" adapter fitting with a black color that blends in with our new driveway.Now we feel safe going into and out of our garage and haven't tripped once!

Works as advertised on 3" corrugated pipe

If you take a knife and cut just below the "cut line" on the adapter and trim the 3" corrugated pipe cleanly next to a "ridge" or high point, you can snap them together with a little force. It seems like a solid system. We'll find out the next time it rains.

Not usable on 3"

I purchased this item because the label said it could be used for 3" or 4" corrugated pipe. I had used it before on 4" pipe and it worked great. However it wouldn't attach to the 3" pipe. I even decided to cut on the cut line to see if it would match up with the 3" pipe. No luck with that either. The manufacturer's website was useless for this fitting.

Downspout Adapter Fitting

I bought this adapter to replace an existing one. I wanted the same type as the existing one. Lowe's apparently do not carry they anymore. I could not figure out how to use this one. I even went online and found the manufacturer's website. There was no explanation of how to use it. No one in Lowe's could advise me. I went to a plumbing store the next day and obtained the one I wanted. This item will be returned to Lowe's.

Easy to adjust alignment

This is a great product to properly align the downspout with the drain pipe. I used it to easily snap into a 4" drain pipe, but it looks like it will accommodate smaller pipes as well.

Downspoutfit

I had to replace an old cracked downspout fitting. Lowe's had only one left on a shelf behind other designs that I did not want or like. This design did the trick and fit like a cork with it's tapered design.

Perfect Fit

This adapter was a perfect fit for my small downspout. The adapter becomes a near 90 fairly easily making it a versatile product. Its attachment to the downspout seems to be sturdy and secure. Very pleased with the product so far.
